PROTECTIVE WATERPROOF LEVELLING COMPOUNDS X-LIME PRODUCT DESCRIPTION X-LIME is a white ready-mixed, lime-based, hydrophobic finishing plaster. PRODUCT APPLICATION Cement-based or lime-cement plaster, and reinforced concrete elements, even if micro-cracked and painted To create uniform facades that have undergone maintenance and re-plastering Base to be painted on Finish for Calibro dehumidifying systems High breathability Easy workability on existing and newly-built surfaces Excellent finish results, even in the presence of micro-cracks and old paint Compatibility with old walls PREPARATION AND APPLICATION Preparing the surfaces In the presence of mould, algae and fungi, thoroughly high-pressure clean the surfaces to remove any micro-organisms, wait for them to dry and apply an undiluted coat of PROCLEAN disinfectant treatment (see relative data sheet). Remove loose or detached parts of old plaster by washing thoroughly and then repairing them, keeping the surface damp during the application. Clean painted plasters vigorously to remove all loose paint, even by sanding it. If exhisting surfaces need to strenghten apply PROFIX 30 (see related technical data sheet). Perform an adhesion test with X-LIME. Preparing and applying the mixture Mix for 3÷5 minutes with a whip-fitted drill; pour the required amount of water (5.5-6 l) and then slowly add X-LIME until a creamy texture is obtained. Apply the product with a metal spatula in an average thickness of 1 mm. After about 20 minutes and according to the surface temperature and absorption, proceed with the superficial finishing with a sponge float. When applying the product, it is possible to insert alkali-resistant fibreglass mesh, which must be applied between two coats of the product. Wait at least 60 minutes between one layer and the next. The product can also be applied with a pneumatic pump or plastering machine with levelling wand. 1/3

PROTECTIVE WATERPROOF LEVELLING COMPOUNDS Finishing Once the curing process is complete, (at least 3 days after the product is applied) X-LIME can be painted with PAINT AIR for the desired colour finish to be obtained. CONSUMPTION AND YIELD 1.4 kg/m2 per mm in thickness, depending on the roughness of the surface. PACKAGING AND STORAGE X-LIME is packed in 20 kg bags. An open package is sensitive to humidity. The products must be stored in a dry place protected from sun and humidity. WARNINGS - IMPORTANT NOTES The product must be used within 60 minutes after mixing. Do not cover with paint...
