Technical properties UniFLAX is a flaxboard with a dense middle layer and a sanded surface layer on the top and bottom surfaces of the board. During the manufacturing process, the UF glue is compressed with the flax shives at a high temperature and the glue is distributed evenly to ensure optimum adhesion. The natural properties of flax make it a very light board that is fire-retardant.
