With the LUMINA car, we have created an extravagant range of five lighting arrangements. Each offers a different level of illumination, from the discreet to the sumptuous. The classical virtues of wood are found in the LUMINA car’s range of six natural veneer finishes. Light, medium or dark-hued, mounted vertically or horizontally, the panels lend themselves to a contemporary or to a more traditional ambiance. The key is how they are married with one of the five lighting arrangements. The combination of the two defines the style. A stainless steel car operating panel harmonises perfectly with the wood lining. So do the wall trims with a satin chrome, mirror chrome or mirror gold finish. Dynamic yet also physically robust, stainless steel may be chosen where a car with high resistance attributes is required. The Onda and Vento handrails consist of a bar and end cap with contrasting finishes. The handrails are designed to comply with the EN81-70 standard and as such the ends are inset into the car wall. SAFER ACCESS The LUMINA concept is designed to fully comply with the European Standard, EN81-70. This provides recommendations to facilitate general lift use and also use by the disabled. ENTRANCE PROTECTION To prevent passengers being struck by the doors, the LUMINA design can be fitted with the LAMBDA™ 2 or, as an option, the LAMBDA 3D system.
