A tried and tested, free-moving linear bearing for the transfer of loads, movements and rotation in buildings. Typical requirements Eccentric load LASTO®STRIP linear bearings are an effective, permanent means of avoiding damage to buildings such as cracks in the structure. The high-quality EPDM elastomeric core, the special silicone grease, the low-friction, impact-resistant sliding foils and the PTFE (Teflon) coatings have been formulated to suit practical requirements and tested successfully. LASTO®STRIP linear bearings are produced entirely from high-quality materials and therefore comply with the most stringent durability and low friction requirements. 2 LASTO®STRIP Type NS Overlapping strip Type NS deformation bearings Type NS deformation bearings are linear bearings, with a deformable load-bearing core that renders them capable of absorbing displacement movements. They are supplied for various applied loads and permit horizontal displacements of ± 2.5mm with a bearing height of 5mm, or alternatively of ± 5.0mm with a bearing height of 10mm. LASTO®STRIP Type LS permanent sliding and deformation bearings are linear bearings with good deformation and sliding capability, which enables them to absorb displacements. Their sliding capability in particular enables them to absorb considerable horizontal movements (up to ± 17.5mm).
