Budapest with Its many famous thermal baths Is a beloved tourist destination as it is the only capital city in the world that is rich in thermal waters with healing qualities. Rudas is the most popular Turkish bath in Budapest. It is located at the foot of Gellert Hill on the Buda side - an important area in the respect of characteristic cityscapes of the Hungarian capital and also in an ancient monumental and touristic point. The centerpiece of the bath today, the Turkish bath, was built during the 16th century in the period of the Turkish occupation.

The refurbishment of the southern part started in October 2013 and was finished in September 2014. The primary aim of the renovation project was to connect bottling plant to the bath and reconstruct the building equipped with additional functions. The swimming section now has four new pools, saunas, a res- taurant and a cafe. A jacuzzi on the new rooftop with panoramic view has been also added to the complex. Girih is a geometric pattern for decoration of buildings and handicrafts in Islamic architecture without any recurring elements. It typically consists of a strapwork that forms stars separated by polygons and straps, and they were often drawn 4D0sqm surface area. 21 pieces of large size perforated grid, 40 pieces of large size engraved Girih elements and 67 pieces of off-white PANELS have been installed to the south wing.
