QuickStart Wall Starter This stainless steel system includes all wall ties and fixings to join a single skin of masonry, 2400mm high, to an existing wall. Integral fold-down wall ties are fast and simple to install and can help maintain an accurate masonry gauge. Each pack contains: • 2 x Starter strips (10 integral wall ties) • 1 x Fixings pack (5 screws, 5 plugs, 5 washers) Suitable for: • Brickwork and blockwork • Single leaf and cavity walls • Internal and external walls • Wall widths from 60mm to 250mm The design shear strength of the system is 4.3kN for a wall height of 2400mm, when fixed to one of the following materials: solid clay bricks; solid dense or lightweight aggregate concrete blocks; solid aerated concrete blocks with a minimum crushing strength of 3.5N/mm2.
