Its aim was to ensure that consistent, high-quality disabled assistance is provided at all EU airports. The features of our PRM (as recently installed at Birmingham Airport, for example) which support this aspiration include raised-height seating, clearly discernible signage, foldaway armrests and increased-height armrests. (Any seat position can be simply converted to or from the reduced mobility configuration.)
