Advanced Stud Finder With the SuperScan® ID advanced center-finding stud finder, you don’t need to worry about being in the correct scan mode. Just turn on the tool, wait for it to calibrate, and begin scanning for studs. One Touch™ technology identifies wood and metal studs, metallic objects, and provides an alert to the presence of low-density objects and live, unshielded AC wires, all in a single mode. Now, you can map virtually all objects behind the wall surface up to 1½ in. (38 mm) deep.
