J-Chair

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The J-Chair is a unique piece of furniture designed specifically for the Museum Jerke in Recklinghausen, Germany, which is dedicated to Polish contemporary art. This chair embodies a strong visual character and a light yet durable construction, reflecting the architectural design of the museum itself.

Design Inspiration
The design of the J-Chair draws inspiration from two main sources: the artwork "Flat Construction - breakage of a black rectangle" by Władysław Strzemiński and the architectural form of the Museum Jerke. Both inspirations emphasize visible divisions and cuttings, which are mirrored in the chair's design using FiDU technology.

FiDU Technology
FiDU, or Freie Innen Druck Umformung, is a cutting-edge technology that involves inflating two welded steel sheets into a 3D object. This method allows for the creation of complex, durable, and customizable shapes, making it an efficient and flexible tool for metal forming.
