Thanks to the backwards compatibility, the Zehnder ComfoAir Standard offers the possibility to upgrade an existing ventilation system with just a few simple steps. The unit is the ideal replacement to the Zehnder ComfoAir Basic 350 and could also be used as a replacement for competitor systems. The Zehnder ComfoAir Standard has excellent energy efficiency, low noise level and low maintenance requirements, all for an affordable price. The residential ventilation unit, with its modern discreet design, is available in two versions with air volumes up to 300 m³/h and 375 m³/h. Its new powerful heat exchanger and a fan with low specific fan power (SFP), make it possible for the Zehnder ComfoAir Standard to achieve a high level of energy efficiency with low energy consumption. In addition, the fan technology provides an optimal air flow, as well as an improved acoustic performance to ensure high customer satisfaction. In combination with the enhanced filter concept with standard ePM1 (F7) / Coarse (G4) filter for supply and extract air, the Zehnder ComfoAir Standard delivers dust and pollen free fresh air. For even more comfort, the by-pass system ensures that the supply air in the living space is always at the perfect temperature. The filter replacement is always at the right time, due to a time-based filter alert. Furthermore the unit impresses with an easy and flexible installation, due to the 90 degrees turnable bends. Beyond that the unit can easily be commissioned using the inbuilt display and guarantees an easy and convenient operation with various control options like the Zehnder ComfoSense. Both versions are available in a left or right handed version, with or without a preheater, or with a built-in enthalpy exchanger in the ComfoAir Standard 375 version. The advantage of the preheater is that it ensures trouble-free ventilation at low temperatures. The built-in enthalpy exchanger is available in the ComfoAir Standard 375 ERV, which reduces excessively dry and humid air for the best possible indoor air quality. COMFOAIR STANDARD Condensate drain During the operation, condensate could be formed inside the unit and the ductwork of the exhaust air. For a trouble-free operation, a condensate drain with a Ø 32 mm connection is fitted to the bottom of the unit. To prevent condensation the outdoor and exhaust air ductwork must be insulated and have a vapor-tight barrier.
