TILES FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION Everything started for Théophile Winckelmans in 1894 when he opened his unglazed tile factory in Lomme in Northern France (Lille). The plan, from the very beginning, was to offer elegant, aesthetic and customisable products that were also versatile and technical. A FACTORY ANCHORED IN TRADITION The Winckelmans factory has been awarded the French Living Heritage Business label thanks to its attachment to traditional production methods that place manual craftsmanship at the heart of its activity. It exports its small tiles all over the world.
