It offers more than 30 health related programs and services to a county population of almost four million. Among the many health programs Maricopa County offers to its residents is the Women, Infants and Children program (WIC). WIC is a supplemental nutrition program that provides nutrition education and support to pregnant women and new mothers with infants and children less than five years of age. Maricopa County’s Facilities Management Department wanted to replace their existing structure with an updated modular building but with minimal disruption to their ongoing operations. With a limited budget, an urgent project timeline and narrow site restraints, Maricopa County contacted a local general contractor, Builders Guild, Inc., for assistance in putting together the best team for the project. Due to our previous project relationship with Builders Guild, Inc. and a successful track record of providing modular buildings similar in application, Williams Scotsman was selected as the modular building subcontractor.
