IRA DAVENPORT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL - 1

PROJECT CASE HISTORY IRA DAVENPORT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL Bath, New York Client Project Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital wanted to relocate its rehabilitation department to a newly constructed building adjacent to the main hospital facility. Client Need The hospital needed construction of the new facility completed in a timely manner to avoid referring patients to alternate physical therapy clinics outside the area and more importantly, have a minimal impact on the overall revenue production and operations of the hospital. Also, the structure had to fully comply with both state and New York Department of Health buildings codes, and aesthetically blend in with existing facilities located in this rural area. Since the site was located in a rural remote area, and cost efficiency was vital, conventional construction timeline posed a grave concern in accommodating the hospital’s needs. Therefore, Williams Scotsman’s modular Concurrent Construction™ process became the ideal solution.
