Webersil P

Product catalog summary
Product Overview
Webersil P is a high-performance silicone resin paint designed for masonry substrates. It offers a unique combination of high water repellency, high vapor permeability, and low VOC content. The paint is resistant to blistering, peeling, algae, and fungi growth, and provides a hydrophobic water-beading effect to maintain a clean surface. It chemically bonds to masonry substrates due to its nanoscale molecular structure and is UV stable and resistant to acid rain, ensuring long-term durability.

Applications
Webersil P is suitable for new build masonry substrates, external wall insulation systems, and rejuvenating existing rendered substrates. It forms part of several approved insulation systems.

Technical Specifications
The paint is solvent-free, water-based, and available in a wide range of colors. It is packaged in 12.5 kg plastic buckets and has a shelf life of 12 months when stored correctly. The nominal coverage is 0.3 – 0.6 kg/m² for two coats.

Application Guidelines
For new substrates, ensure the render is fully cured, clean, dry, and free from dust. For existing substrates, remove loose render and treat surfaces with a biocidal wash. Apply a first coat of webersil P diluted with water, followed by a second undiluted coat. Avoid application in extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Health and Safety
The product is essentially non-hazardous, but protective clothing is recommended during application. Clean tools with water immediately after use.

Storage and Handling
Store wet pre-mixed materials frost-free and away from direct sunlight. Buckets should be stacked no more than two high to prevent air ingress.

render solutions webersil PPreparation Existing rendered substrates Hammer test and remove all areas of loose, 'bossed' render. Treat surfaces with weber CL150, a biocidal wash. Refer to data sheet for full instructions. Wire brush, or wash down surface with a high pressure jet (40 - 80 bar) to remove all traces of growth. Make good surfaces using weberend aid and weberend TUC or weberend PUC. New rendered substrates Ensure new render is fully cured, clean, dry and free from dust. Note: To ensure colour consistency, paint required for complete and adjoining panels should be of the same batch...
