Product catalog summary
Product Overview
Weberend MPR is a pre-blended, multi-purpose traditional render designed for use as an undercoat. It is formulated to comply with BS 5262 standards, offering excellent weather resistance and durability while allowing the structure to breathe. The product is factory-controlled to ensure consistent quality and is suitable for application on various substrates such as brickwork, blockwork, and concrete.

Specifications
The render is based on Portland cement, lime, sand, and additives to reduce capillary water absorption. It is designed for moderate strength backgrounds and exposure conditions. The product is supplied as a dry powder and requires only the addition of water on-site.

Application Constraints
Do not apply to gypsum plaster or previously painted surfaces. Ensure all surfaces are sound, clean, dry, and free of materials that may impair adhesion. Avoid application in temperatures below 5°C or above 30°C, in damp conditions, or if frost is forecast within 24 hours.

Mixing and Application
Mix with clean water at approximately 4-5 liters per 25 kg bag. Apply using a trowel or spray machine. For traditional application, apply a first coat of 10-12 mm, scratch horizontally, allow to dry, then apply a second coat of 8-10 mm. For spray application, apply in two passes to achieve a 20 mm thickness.

Curing and Protection
Cure for 2-3 days before overcoating. In hot climates, curing with a fine spray of water may be necessary. Protect from unfavorable weather conditions during application and early curing.

Coverage and Storage
Approximately 1.8 kg/m² is required per mm of thickness. When applied at 20 mm thick, coverage is approximately 27.5 m²/tonne. Store unopened in a dry place above 5°C for up to 12 months.

Health and Safety
Contains cement and may produce an allergic reaction. Harmful by inhalation and irritating to eyes and skin. Use protective clothing and wash immediately after contact.

All surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free of any material which may impair adhesion. Scaffolding must be independently tied to allow for uninterrupted application. Any faults in the structure, particularly those which may lead to moisture penetration must be rectified. On poorly keyed surfaces, for example smoothconcrete or substrates of uneven or high suction weberend aid should be used. Mask around the areas where material is to be applied. Masking tape must be removed before the material has dried out. Expansion joints should be included as required by the substrate and carried through...
