Technical Data Sheet POWERFLOAT PRIMER Adhesion promoter for difficult surfaces DESCRIPTION AND USES Powerfloat Primer is a two-component, solvent free epoxy primer designed to improve the adhesion of coatings to hard, smooth surfaces. It can be applied to powerfloated concrete, quarry tiles, ceramic tiles and aluminum. Topcoat with most types of floor paint, however avoid using any topcoat which includes a strong solvent. This product is especially suited to Water-based Epoxy Coat and all Rust-Oleum Industrial Flooring epoxy coatings. It is also a suitable primer for our Concrete Floor Paint. For any other coating, we recommend a test for suitability. Please note: Although Powerfloat Primer will improve adhesion on difficult surfaces the characteristics of such surfaces can vary. For this reason a trial area should be applied to ensure that adequate adhesion can be achieved.
