Concrex™ is a versatile repair mortar designed for concrete and masonry repairs up to 2 inches deep. Surface Preparation
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of loose material. Use wire brushing or washing with a degreaser if necessary.
Priming
Priming is generally not required unless applying as a thin screed or on non-porous surfaces, where Tack Coat is recommended.
Mixing
Store Concrex™ above 50°F before use. Mix aggregate with curing agent thoroughly until a smooth mortar is achieved. Do not mix inside the plastic bucket.
Application
Apply mixed material with a steel trowel, wetting the blade with mineral spirits for a smooth finish. Suitable for thicknesses of ¼-2 inches, with deeper repairs requiring multiple layers or Concrex Deep Fill.
Curing Time
Varies by product and temperature, generally ranging from 3-6 hours for light traffic to 16-24 hours for heavy traffic at 50°F.
Physical Properties
All variants have VOCs <50 g/l and a shelf life of 2 years. Flashpoint is >200°F.

Technical Data Sheet CONCREX ™ Concrete repair patch DESCRIPTION AND USES Concrex : An extremely versatile repair mortar that bonds strongly and permanently to the concrete and will not shrink when it cures. It is ideal for repairs where cement-based mortars would fail. Concrex uses a two-part epoxy novolac resin providing high resistance to chemicals and abrasion. It is designed for the repair of damaged areas in concrete and masonry up to 2 inches in depth and can be troweled to a feather edge. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Concrex should not be used in areas subjected to steam cleaning or washing at temperatures above 140°F. Concrex™ Tinted: A pigmented version of Concrex. Concrex™ Cold Set: For use at a temperature range of 15-50°F. Concrex™ Rapid Set: A fast cure version which is suitable for heavy traffic in three hours. Concrex™ Deep Fill: Designed to fill deep repairs to within 1/4" of the finished floor level before finishing with Concrex. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces should be clean, dry and free of all loose material. Wire brushing or sweeping is generally sufficient. If needed, wash with Concroff™ or a suitable degreaser or detergent solution, to remove grease and oil, rinse and allow to dry. Thirty minutes to one hour depending on the temperature. If Concrex is used past its working life, trowelling will become difficult and adhesion will be reduced. Priming A primer is not usually required if patch or crack repairing.
