Technical Data Sheet 4-HOUR EPOXY PRIMER Fast penetrating primer DESCRIPTION AND USES COMPANION PRODUCTS A two-component solvent-free primer especially designed to reduce penetration on porous, very absorbent surfaces. It has significant benefits over traditional water-based primers in penetration, adhesion and curing. The 4-Hour Epoxy Primer is used for interior concrete to bind weak surfaces and can be over coated with the following high performance epoxy resin floor finishes: Epoxicote and High Build Epoxy. SURFACE PREPARATION The concrete surface must be clean, dry and free of loose material. New concrete should be allowed to cure for 28 days prior to coating. Remove oil, dirt, grease and other chemical contaminants by cleaning with detergent or other suitable cleaner. Rinse thoroughly. Use Cemtetch™ to remove unsound laitance and create a proper surface profile to the concrete. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before application of the 4-Hour Epoxy Primer.
