Cristal® and Cristal Plus® are insulating glass units which convert electricity into radiant heat. Applying electrical voltage to the special coating on the surface of the glass transforms the energy into heat, which is emitted in the form of long-wave infrared. ELECTRICAL WIRING Electrical wiring in accordance to manufacturer instructions/drawings, and in accordance to national regulations. WG Heated Glass units can be supplied with electronic controller WG-ECS to allow surface temperature adjustment. It is recommended to use wiring conduits inside walls, ceilings and cavities.
