REPAIR MORTARS SANOFER PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Cement-based protective coating specific for protecting reinforcement rods. PRODUCT APPLICATION • Damaged reinforcement bars in deteriorated concrete • Also effective on rust-corroded rods • Excellent grip for future repair mortars • Easy and quick application • Use directly on exposed steel bars Preparing the surfaces SANOFER is able to ensure protection, even when applied to rusty rods; any rust not adhering perfectly to the rod must be removed beforehand with thorough brushing. Preparing and applying the mixture SANOFER is ready for use; mixing water must be added as follows: • Pour the mixing water into the pot (0.25 l per bag equivalent to 25% in weight) • Slowly add SANOFER while the paint mixer is on at medium speed • Mix for approx. 2 minutes, until the mixture is completely smooth • apply SANOFER with a medium bristle brush Ideal protective thickness is 200-300 micron. 1 kg of product covers approximately 3.7 m² (protective thickness of about 200 micron). SANOFER is packed in 1 kg pots. The product must be stored in a dry place without being exposed to frost and heat. WARNINGS - IMPORTANT NOTES The product must be used within 20 minutes after mixing.
