JOINT COVERS, PROFILES FOR JOINTS AND ACCESSORIES REVOMAT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION REVOMAT is a fibreglass mesh which, thanks to high resistance to the alkalis contained in the cement, is not affected by oxidation and disaggregation. PRODUCT APPLICATION In combination with mortars and/or plasters to provide widespread partition of stresses. • Light and easy to handle, easy to cut • Good flexibility to facilitate shaping for changes in direction • Reduced footprint thanks to low thickness warp and weft crossings • Excellent durability, unalterable in damp and chemically aggressive environments • High tensile strength (approximately 3 times greater than steel) • It features a special anti-alkaline surface treatment (finish) which further enhances the properties and provides dimensional stability Preparing the surfaces Seal any water flows and passing pipes on the BI MORTAR (see related data sheet) installation surfaces; clean them by removing form oil, grease and loose parts and high-pressure clean the surface until it is soaked. Preventively position the galvanised or stainless steel connectors with the use of epoxy chemical fastening systems. Application Apply an initial layer of mortar and embed REVOMAT in it, which must be fastened to the relative, previously installed connectors considering a 10 cm overlapping between sheets; next, apply a second layer of mortar to cover the mesh completely.
