PROFIX 30 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION PROFIX 30 is a water-dispersed micronised acrylic resin base that is able to penetrate deep into the surface creating a high strengthening and absorption homogenising effect. PRODUCT APPLICATION Preparation of mineral or synthetic surfaces, both outdoor and indoor, before the application of further coatings, finishes or waterproofing products. Particularly suitable for: • Old cement or lime-based plaster, especially if deteriorated, powdery or weakened • Surfaces with synthetic finishes, quartz coatings or plastic paints • Concrete surfaces • Old or dusty screeds • High penetrating power and effective strengthening effect, even with low-porous surfaces • It adjusts surface absorption, facilitating the following applications • Removes dust from mineral surfaces • It increases adhesion of coatings, finishes and waterproofing products to the surface • Can be applied in closed and poorly ventilated environments as it is odourless and solvent-free Surfaces with the presence of mould, algae and fungi Apply an undiluted coat of the PROCLEAN disinfectant treatment (see related data sheet). After at least 2-3 hours, proceed with the application of PROFIX 30. Deteriorated, powdery or weakened plaster Remove all loose or detached parts by thorough pressure washing, and repair with FIBRO 20 fibrereinforced mortar (see relative data sheet) keeping the surface wet during application. Wait at least 24 hours after completing repairs and apply PROFIX 30 to the dry surface of all of the surfaces, including the powdery ones. Existing surfaces in good state or newly-built, such as: plaster, repair and levelling mortars in general, reinforced levelling compounds and thick coatings, paints and varnishes. Wait for the newly prepared surfaces to cure completely. With pre-existing, old surfaces, remove all loose or crumbling parts by brushing and thorough pressure washing, then wait for the surface to dry completely before applying PROFIX 30. Old or powdery concrete to be waterproofed with PLASTIVO Scarify any surfaces where there are loose parts, even if partially detached, efflorescence and dust or grease. Then high-pressure clean.

PROFIX 30 Clean the exposed reinforcement bars and passivate them with SANOFER. Repair deteriorated parts with a Volteco mortar cycle (see the relative technical data sheets).
