PROFIX 20 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION PROFIX 20 is a base coat consisting of a polysiloxane and acrylic microemulsion mixture capable of penetrating into the surface, thereby reinforcing and homogenising absorption. PRODUCT APPLICATION To prepare mineral substrates, especially cement-based surfaces (e.g. concrete, cement-based mortars and plaster) before applying levelling compounds, coatings or finishes in general. • It adjusts surface absorption, facilitating the following applications • To strengthen the surface, preventing the formation of a superficial film • Removes dust from mineral surfaces • It increases the adhesion of levelling compounds, coatings or finishes in general, being odourless and solvent-free it can be applied in indoor and poorly-ventilated rooms Preparing the surfaces The surfaces to be treated or any patches treated with repair mortars must complete the curing process, perfectly clean, cohesive and dry. Remove all traces of oil or grease and loose parts from the surface. Seal any cracks and repair damaged parts. High-pressure clean the surfaces affected by fungi, and when they are dry apply the PROCLEAN disinfectant treatment (see related data sheet), after which it is necessary to wait 2-3 hours before applying PROFIX 20. Preparing the product PROFIX 20 is ready to use, it does not require dilution with water. Application Mix the product before use and apply it evenly, until it is no longer absorbed, in a single coating, using a brush, roller or spray gun. Overapplication Wait for the complete absorption of PROFIX 20 before applying any levelling compounds and finishes.

The product must be stored in a dry place without being exposed to frost and heat (maximum temperature: 40°C) or direct exposure to the sun before being applied. Storage time 12 months.
