PAINT POOL PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Solvent-free, two-component, polyurethane, semi-glossy paint with good elasticity and excellent resistance to water and the aggression of chemical agents; suitable for contact with drinking water (M.D. 174 of 06/04/2004). Perfect for finishing swimming pools, ornamental tanks and fountains with excellent results. It is available in white, grey and blue with the possibility of customised colours. Level with a minimum thickness of 3 mm and maximum 1 cm (for thicknesses > 5 mm proceed with alternate layers) with X-RAPID levelling compound or FLEXOMIX 30 mortar. Once the curing process is complete, apply PROFIX 60 primer (see related technical data sheet). Cement-based surface The surface must have a minimum compressive strength of 15 N/mm² and the relative humidity must not exceed 4-5%. Thoroughly clean the surfaces by brushing or low-pressure washing to remove all traces of dust, dirt, salt deposits, efflorescence and loose parts. If necessary, restore missing parts or seal any cracks by applying a suitable cement-based levelling compound. Apply PROFIX 60 primer (see related technical data sheet).

PAINT POOL Preparing the product Mix component A (paste) thoroughly for a few minutes with a drill-mixer and then pour all of component B (hardening agent) into the recipient of component A. Proceed with mixing, with a drill-mixer, at a speed of 300/400 rpm for at least 2 minutes until it is completely homogeneous. Pour the mixture into a clean container and complete mixing with a drill-mixer for an additional 1÷2 minutes. The mixture has a pot life of 2 hours (+20°C and 60% RH). PAINT POOL The final paint colour may vary slightly from that of the sample or the colour selected from the colour chart. It is therefore recommended to always paint a test area before starting the actual job. Minor variations do not constitute the right to make a claim. There may be slight shade variations in various production batches; it is therefore recommended to use colours of the same batch to paint one surface.
