PAINT AIR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Acrylic-siloxane paint formulated to paint any mineral surface (except for chalk-based) and to create decorative coatings with the possibility of choosing between a broad range of colours. PRODUCT APPLICATION • To paint any type of mineral surface, such as old and new plaster (except gypsum-based), sandstone, etc • Painting surfaces with synthetic finishes or plastic paint • Decorative coating on CP1, CP2, X-LIME or X-RAPID • Excellent water repellency • Excellent vapour permeability • Excellent resistance against aggressive physical and chemical atmospheric agents (ex: wind, smog, etc) • Adheres firmly to mineral-based surfaces, even if painted • Good deformability • Highly resistant to UV rays • Vast range of colours available • Low dirt pick up Surfaces with the presence of mould, algae and fungi Remove any micro-organisms and thoroughly high-pressure clean the surfaces, wait for them to dry and apply an undiluted coat of PROCLEAN disinfectant treatment (see relative data sheet), then wait at least 2-3 hours before applying the base product of PAINT. Surfaces coated with CP1/CP2 Wait for complete curing, then clean any dust or crust from the surface by brushing or low-pressure washing. When the surface is dry, apply PROFIX 40 (see related technical data sheet) in the same colour as the PAINT AIR finish. It is only possible to leave out PROFIX 40 if the colour of the surface and the colour of the product are identical or slightly different. Surfaces such as deteriorated, powdery or weakened plasters Remove all loose or detached parts by brushing and thorough pressure washing, and repair with FIBRO 20 fibre-reinforced mortar (see relative data sheet) keeping the surface wet during application. Apply PROFIX 20 or PROFIX 30 (see relative data sheets) to powdery or weakened portions, according to the required degree of homogenisation and strengthening.

PAINT AIR Existing surfaces in good state or newly-built, such as: plaster, repair and levelling mortars in general, reinforced levelling compounds and thick coatings, paints and varnishes. Wait for the newly prepared surfaces to cure completely With pre-existing, old surfaces, remove all loose or crumbling parts by brushing and thorough pressure washing, then wait for the surface to dry completely.
