PRODUCTS FOR CONSOLIDATION AND STRUCTURAL BONDING MICROLIME NOVECENTO PRODUCT DESCRIPTION An extremely fluid injectable mixture, for strengthening walls in historical stone, brick or mixed structures such as foundations, pillars and vaults. It is also recommended for bonding and repairing plasters in deteriorated conditions and to anchor reinforcement bars during critical restoration jobs. PRODUCT APPLICATION • To re-aggregate and strengthen old walls made of stone, bricks or mixed, such as foundations, columns and vaults, by means of injection • To anchor reinforcement bars to restore old walls, to bond and repair plaster • Easily injectable thanks to its extreme fluidity • Mechanical resistance and modulus of elasticity compatible with the values of the materials and the wall structures involved in the works • Easy and quick refurbishing of the wall structure • Good mechanical performance and volumetric stability • To anchor reinforcement bars Preparing the surfaces The surfaces of the walls affected by the strengthening works, and where the final plaster is to be applied, must always be evenly roughened in advance. If the wall is to remain exposed, grouting must be applied in the various sections or a ”sacrificial” plaster must be applied. Preparing the grid of holes The layout of the hole grid depends on the type of wall and the degree of uniformity to be achieved, and must be carried out in at least two phases. Normally, a first set of holes (Ø 18 - 24 mm) is made on the wall to be strengthened, slightly downward, aligned horizontally and vertically and at an equal distance (approx. 100 cm apart), into which the specific injectors are then secured. After the first phase of injections, a second set of holes will be made at the centre of the grid set-up previously, and another injection phase will then be performed. Preparing the mixture Pour 6 l of water (30% in weight) into a container with the mixer running, slowly add the powder and mix it for approx. 3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and free of lumps, then pour it into the injection pump. Performing the injections Twenty-four hours prior to injection, soak the wall by injecting water into the previously drilled holes.

Once injection is complete, seal the injectors and continue to inject the upper rows of holes. After approximately 3 days, when the second series of holes has been made, carry out the intermediate injections following the same operational diagram. A package of MICROLIME NOVECENTO produces approx. 14 l of liquid mixture. The product is packed in 20 kg bags. Store the product in a dry place.
