JOINT COVERS, PROFILES FOR JOINTS AND ACCESSORIES GARVO 3 and 5 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Waterproof elastic strip joint cover for use in combination with Plastivo cement-based coating or Aquascud protective system. Suited for waterproofing joints in structures subject to movement and for covering structural cracks and construction joints subject to positive hydrostatic pressure. PRODUCT APPLICATION • To seal joints in structures or prefabricated elements subjected to thermal or dynamic movements • To cover structural cracks and construction joints subjected to positive hydrostatic pressure • Easy and quick application • Extremely waterproof • High elongation capacity • Excellent adhesion Preparing the surfaces Clean the concrete from dust, grease and loose material by brushing energetically, sanding or chiselling and remove any surface water. Remove any trace of oxidation and paint on metal surfaces. Application First apply a 1 mm coating of PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD on the side surfaces of the joint for a total length that exceeds the width of the GARVO joint cover, leaving the middle area free from the product. Apply the lateral pierced GARVO band to the area previously treated with PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD and still fresh, and apply a second coating to cover the joint completely. If transversal movements are expected, GARVO must be positioned in an omega position. GARVO is available in the following versions:

WARNINGS - IMPORTANT NOTES The GARVO end parts are joined by overlapping 5 cm, using only SUPERBOND as an adhesive. Do not use in conditions of negative pressure. Total bonding with the surface using PLASTIVO or AQUASCUD is required when applying the product on tanks or pools finished with a covering, and solely in the case of construction joints.
