DAMP-PROOF AND ANTI-CONDENSATION RESTORATION EMULSIONS AND BARRIER AGAINST RISING DAMP CALIBRO PLUS EVAPORATION PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Dehumidifying system formulated to restore plaster on damp walls, both indoors and outdoors. It is comprised of two restoring, dehumidifying components, Calibro Rinzaffo and Calibro Intonaco, to be used one after the other. PRODUCT APPLICATION • Walls with evident humidity and salt deposits caused by capillary rising damp • To create anti-condensation plaster • Suitable to coat all types of walls • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor application • It guarantees long-lasting sound and stable restoration • It inhibits the development of any form of condensation • Also machine-applicable Preparing the surfaces Remove the existing plaster up to 50 – 100 cm above the highest visible line of the rising damp. Remove all loose and brittle parts, which could prevent even adhesion to the surface. In case of high salt concentration, scrape or brush the wall until the original masonry is visible. Should there be damaged parts on the wall, these must be restored with new material. Tools Both CALIBRO P.E. components can be mixed using a concrete mixer or a horizontal mixer. CALIBRO P.E. RINZAFFO can also be mixed with a whip-fitted drill. Preparing and applying the mixture The CALIBRO P.E. system is applied in two subsequent layers as follows. Preparing the mixture Pour 6.00 l of water into the operating cement mixer and then slowly add CALIBRO P.E. RINZAFFO, mixing for 3÷5 minutes until you obtain a creamy mixture. The same procedure must be carried out when mixing with whip-fitted drill, by pouring 6.00 l of water into a pot and then slowly pouring in the CALIBRO P.E. RINZAFFO product, mixing for 2÷3 minutes at medium speed until you obtain a creamy mixture. Application First fill the cavities and level the surface, then apply the rough coat evenly with a minimum thickness of 5 mm. The CALIBRO P.E.
