DIN modules by Think Simple are a family of wireless products designed to simplify the work of both the designer and installer. They are particularly useful for installation in existing plants where actuators are installed in electric cabinets or, in case of new plant, when the designer prefers to site the electric power modules in a control cabinet. They can be controlled by creating associations with other Think Simple wireless products. 1. 1. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS Always check that the motor used is fitted with all the safety features required by current safety legislation – especially as regards the prevention of injury by crushing - because Vitrum functions solely as a movement control device. 2. DIN MODULE IS INTELLIGENT The mains must be connected to terminals identified by letters N – L. Connectors identified by symbol __ \__ must be connected to loads. Incorrect connections may give rise to failures or malfunctioning of the dimmer. To control the module using a push-button, use the connections identified by letters P1 and P2. 3. SETTINGS 3.1 Selecting the actioning time for the motor The default time for which the motor is actioned is set in the factory to fifty seconds. When a button is pressed briefly, DIN Module will operate the motor to which it is connected for that time. If this time is insufficient to complete the opening/closing operation, or if the time is excessive (in which case, if the motors are not fitted with limit switches, the clutch on the motor would be overloaded), the motor actioning time can be adjusted as follows: • Move the curtain or roller blind to the completely-open or completely-closed...

3.2 Selecting ALL OFF and flash red (double beep): no change will be done on previous configuration. The default time for which the motor is operated could be different between Vitrum Satellite Roller Blind and DIN Module Roller Blind Control. However the effective operating time will be the one set on DIN Module Roller Blind Control. For safety and aesthetical reasons you should set devices in order to have the same operating time so that Vitrum lighting feedback will be the same. 4. ADVANCED FUNCTIONS: creation of control logic On all DIN Module Roller Blind Control units, it is possible to create control logic processes: these make it possible to pilot the device from other devices of the same type, from Vitrum Satellite Roller Blind or using the Home Master remote handset. To do this, all the devices must first be INCLUDED in the home ne work (see paragraph 3); the HOME MASTER remote handset can be used only to completely open or close all the curtains/roller blinds; other adjustments can be made directly using the buttons. You can do association only between Vitrum/Din Module of same model or With Vitrum Satellite Roller Blind.
