Vito Emulsion paint GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS Emulsion paint for general interior use suitable for walls, staircases, ceilings, etc. It exhibits great hiding power and high spreading rate. It is a good value for money emulsion paint, suitable for the professional painter. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease and loose or flaking paint. Use Vitex's Acrylic Putty to fill any cracks or holes. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, rendering, plasterboard, etc. must first be coated with Vitex's 100 % Acrylic primer (water-based) diluted up to 400% with water, Durovit (transparent solvent-based primer) diluted up to 100% with Vitex's Brush Solvent T-300 or Acrylan Unco (micronize acrylic silicone water-based primer) diluted 50 - 100% with water. Surfaces previously covered with water-based paints or distempers (lime wash or ceiling white) should be primed with Vitosin or Durovit. Surfaces stained from smoke, graffity, coffee or any other kind of stain should first be primed with Blanco (water-based primer), diluted 10 - 15% with water. COLOURS It is available in white. Vito emulsion based paint can be used for the preparation of a wide range of shades through VITEX's Colorfull Tinting System. PACKAGING It is available in 3 L and 9 L pails. DRYING It is touch dry after 15 - 30 minutes, depending on atmospheric conditions. RECOATABILITY TIME It can be recoated after 3 - 4 hours, depending on atmospheric conditions.
