Product Overview: Vitex with Teflon™ is a premium quality vinyl emulsion paint designed for interior use, featuring Teflon™ surface protection technology. Specifications: The paint offers excellent levelling properties, hiding power, and resistance to frequent washing (Class 1, EN 13300/ISO 11998). It is practically odorless due to the absence of ammonia and can be recoated with any Vitex emulsion/acrylic paint. Available in white and various shades through the Vitex Colorfull Tinting System, it comes in packaging sizes of 750 mL, 3 L, and 10 L. The spreading rate is 15 - 18 m²/L per coat on properly prepared surfaces. The product contains a maximum of 15 g/L VOCs, adhering to EU regulations.
Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry, and free from grease, dust, or loose paint. Cracks or holes should be filled with Acrylic Putty or Visto. Priming is necessary for surfaces previously covered with water paints or distempers, and for new surfaces made of plaster, concrete, or plasterboard.
Application: Stir well before use and apply two coats using a roller, brush, or airless spray gun, diluted up to 10% with water. Avoid application at temperatures below 5°C, above 35°C, or relative humidity above 80%. The paint is touch-dry in 30-60 minutes and can be recoated after 3-4 hours. Allow at least 2 weeks before cleaning newly painted surfaces.
Technical Characteristics: Viscosity is 110 ± 10 KU, density is 1.45 ± 0.02 Kg/L for white, and gloss is less than 5 units at 60°. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight, at temperatures between 5°C - 38°C.

Teflon™ technology creates a paint surface protection, which gives enhanced resistance to the absorption of common household stains, and makes it easier to remove stains after a long period of time. Teflon™ technology creates an anti-static protection surface that reduces the deposition of dust, smoke and other pollutants. Removing stains is done with a soft damp cloth and soap or non-abrasive mild household cleaners. Vitex with Teflon™ emulsion paint can be applied on properly prepared surfaces of any material. It has very good levelling properties, hiding power, and resistance to frequent washing (Class 1, EN 13300/ISO 11998), coupled with superior whiteness and performance. It is practically odorless in its application because it does not contain ammonia. It is recoatable with any emulsion/acrylic paint of Vitex. Apply two coats by roller, brush or airless spray gun diluted up to 10% with water. Do not apply at temperature below 5°C, above 35°C and/ or relative humidity above 80%. It is touch-dry after 30-60 minutes and can be recoated after 3-4 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). Allow at least 2 weeks before cleaning and washing newly painted surfaces with Vitex with Teflon™. Wash gently with water using a soft sponge. In case of bad stains, use a mild colourless detergent or soapy water. Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent. VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) CONTENT EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product (category A/a “Interior matt walls and ceilings (Gloss<25@60o)”, Type WB): 30 g/L.
