Vitex metallico Metallic emulsion paint Water-based paint, based on specific acrylic resins and metallic pigments, formulated specially in order to provide an impressive metallic finish on every surface. It can be applied onto walls, pillars, ceilings, plasterboards as well as wood, plastic or metal, after proper preparation. Walls painted with Vitex Metallico contribute in the maintenance of a steady temperature within room acting as a natural air-condition, due to its capacity to reflect the infra-red radiation (IR). Virtually odourless during its application, since it does not contain ammonia. • Metallic finish • Ideal for impressive and easy styles COLOURS Available in 3 shades: 500 Pandora (silver), 520 Helios (gold) and 530 Selene (bronze). Shade 500 Pandora can be used as a base paint for the preparation of 30 selected through Vitex’s Colorfull Tinting System. PACKAGING Shades SPREADING RATE 10 – 12 m2/L per coat on properly prepared surfaces. VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) CONTENT EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product (category A/b ‘Interior glossy walls and ceilings (Gloss 25@60ο)’ Type WB): 100 g/L. This product contains maximum 29 g/L VOCs (ready for use product). SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces should be smooth, clean and dry, free from grease, dust, loose or flaking paint. To fill any cracks or holes use Acrylic Putty or Visto. New surfaces made of plaster, concrete, cement, plasterboard, etc. should be first primed with 100% Acrylic Primer or Acrylan Unco Eco or Blanco Eco. Surfaces stained from smoke, graffity, coffee or any other kind of stain should first be primed with Blanco Eco or Vitosin. Wooden surfaces should be coated with Velatura Water based. Surfaces from PVC, aluminum, glass etc should be coated with Primer for Glossy Surfaces. Metallic surfaces should be coated with an anticorrosive primer (Anti-Rust Primer or Metal Primer). APPLICATION Stir well before use. Apply two coats by roller, brush or airless spray gun diluted up to 10% with water. Do not apply at temperatures below 5οC, above 35οC and/or relative humidity above 80%. It is touch-dry after 1-2 hours and can be recoated after 6-8 hours. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). Allow at least 3 weeks before cleaning and washing newly painted surfaces with Vitex Metallico. Wash gently with water using a soft sponge. In case of bad stains, use a mild colourless detergent or soapy water. Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent. TECHNICAL CHARASTERISTICS Viscosity STORAGE Containers must be kept closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C - 38°C.
