Pool Paint - 1

Pool Paint formulated for maximum under water durability. Suitable for concrete oncrete swimming pools and metal surfaces. It provides a non-porous glossy and elastic surface, highly resistant to automated cleaning systems and ems pool chemicals. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Viscosity T Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with ely after f ft Pool Paint Thinner. SPREADING RATE 8 – 10 m2/L per coat depending on the porosity of the substrate. MIXING RATIO Α/Β 3/1 by volume. VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) CONTENT EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product (category A/j “Two-pack performance coatings”, Type SB): 500 g/L. This product contains maximum 490 g/L VOCs (ready for use product). STORAGE Containers must be kept closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C - 38°C. SAFETY ADVICE Read label before use. For further instructions precautions see Material Safety Data Sheet. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces should be clean, completely dry and free from dust, grease, loose material or one component paints and properly abrased. For concrete surfaces use Pool Paint as primer, diluted by 10-15% with Pool Paint Thinner. New concrete swimming pool should only be painted at least 28 days after construction. APPLICATION Stir component A΄ gradually adding the Pool Paint Thinner. Then add the entire quantity of component B΄ and stir well for approximately 3 minutes. The mixture should be left to stand for 5-10 minutes after mixing the two components before the application. The pot life of the mixture is 4 hours at 30°C and 6 hours at 20°C. Apply 2-3 coats by brush, roller or airless spray gun diluted 5% with Pool Paint Thinner. Do not apply at temperature below 5°C, above 35°C and / or relative humidity above 80%. It is touch dry in 1-2 hours and can be recoated after 12 hours. The recoating interval time must be less than 2 days. The pool should time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature).
