Product Overview:
FLOORGUARD HYBRID PU is a one-component, water-based hybrid acrylic paint with polyurethane designed for interior and exterior floors with low-traffic use. Technical Specifications:
  • Coverage: Two coats cover 6-7 m²/L, while one coat covers 12-14 m²/L.
  • Dilution: Water, 5-20%.
  • Drying Time: Touch dry in 30-60 minutes; recoat in 6-8 hours.
  • Viscosity: 110 ± 10 KU (ASTM D 562, 25°C).
  • Gloss: 20-40 units @ 60° (ISO 2813).
  • Density: 1.24 ± 0.02 Kg/L (ISO 2811) for white.
  • VOC Content: Maximum 79 g/L, below the limit of 140 g/L.

Application Instructions:
  • Ensure surfaces are smooth, clean, and dry, free from grease, dust, and loose paint.
  • Fill cracks or holes with Acrylic Putty.
  • Apply directly to concrete without priming; prime high absorbent or loose surfaces with Durovit or Acrylan Unco Eco.
  • Dilute the first layer 15-20% with water and stir well before use.
  • Apply the first coat using a brush, roller, or airless spray gun.
  • Recoat after 6-8 hours, diluting subsequent coats 5-10% with water.

Storage and Handling:
  • Store in a cool, dry area between 5°C-38°C.
  • Keep containers closed when not in use.
  • Do not dispose of liquid waste into groundwater; handle unused paint with care for safe disposal.

Additional Tips:
  • Apply at temperatures between 5-35°C and <70% RH.
  • Do not apply if rain or frost is expected within 48 hours.
  • Allow new concrete to cure for at least 30 days before painting.
  • Complete hardening occurs after 7 days; wait 3 weeks before cleaning newly painted surfaces.
  • Clean tools immediately after use with water and, if necessary, soapy water or detergent.
