Elastomeric Putty Elastomeric water-based acrylic putty that can be used for repair and waterproofing of interior and exterior surfaces. It contains microspheres attributing characteristics that make it ideal for repairing cracks and joints, since it hardly shrinks and does not crack. It has a high resistance to humidity, changes in temperature, alkalinity, external weather resistance and is used on surfaces such as concrete, brick, plaster, cement, wood, plasterboard. It has strong adhesion, it is simple to use and apply and easy to sand. • For interior and exterior surfaces • Hardly shrinks and does not crack SPREADING RATE 1,5 – 2,5 m2/ Kg per coat on properly prepared surfaces. VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) CONTENT EU maximum VOC content limit values (Directive 2004/42/CE) for this product (category A/g “Primers”, Type WB): 30 g/L. This product contains maximum 29 g/L VOCs (ready for use product). COLOURS Available in grey. STORAGE Containers must be kept closed in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight at temperatures between 5°C - 38°C. SAFETY ADVICE Read label before use. For further instructions precautions see Material Safety Data Sheet. SURFACE PREPARATION Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease, loose material. APPLICATION Apply the product using a spatula without dilution in cracks up to 1 cm, as well as in larger with the prior use of sealant cord. It can be recoated with emulsion or solvent-based paints, with the prior use of a suitable primer of Vitex. Do not apply at temperature below 5°C, above 35°C and/or relative humidity above 80%. It is touch dry after 3-6 hours depending on the dimensions of the crack-joint and can be recoated after 1-2 days, depending depending on the dimensions of the crack-joint. Drying time depends on weather conditions (humidity and temperature). Tools must be cleaned immediately after use with water and if needed with soapy water or a detergent.
