CLEANING For everyday cleaning, solid wood furniture should be wiped with a dry or, if desired, with a dampened cloth but never with a wet cloth. Please clean slightly soiled areas with furniture soap and a woollen cloth. Do not use any fat-dissolving household detergents or steam cleaners. For any more heavily soiled areas or water marks that may form over time, we recommend sanding the surface with 120 - 280 grit paper and refinishing the surface with a suitable oil.
