Catalog excerpts
From one pedal bin to an entire Vipp family The very first Vipp bin was made in 1939 by craftsman Holger Nielsen who originally intended the bin only for his wife’s hairdressing salon. Today, the original bin has been supplemented by a range of functional tools ideal for the bathroom and kitchen. The new products match the classic pedal bin in terms of design and quality and are made from the characteristic Vipp materials stainless steel and rubber. Today, Vipp has won recognition as an international design icon appreciated by design enthusiasts and architects around the world. On numerous occasions, Vipp has collaborated with international designers and artists in creating one-of-a-kind art objects, which have been exhibited and auctioned off for charity. Vipp is now a third generation family business ready to add new chapters to an already exciting history.

After many hours in the workshop, he is ready to present the Vipp pedal bin to Marie – and she is thrilled. The Vipp bin is never intended to be sold. But, like Marie, the customers in her salon love the bin. Marie’s customers think that the bin is ideal...
