What is a smart lock for home care? With Phoniro Lock digital solution, standard keys are replaced by digital keys in staff smartphones, with a locking unit placed on the inside of the resident’s front door. Safe and Secure For a safe and secure solution, permissions in the system are assigned in Phoniro Care via the web interface with the digital keys updated online and automatically transferred to mobile phones. Residential care providers log into their smartphones using a personal user name and password to obtain the right permissions. This means the same mobile phone can be used by various staff members on different shifts. The system also records which staff member locked/unlocked which resident’s door, and when.
