In order to satisfy the needs of different European markets related to construction, we offer renovation windows and balcony doors in the PRESTIGE line, designed for installation in historic buildings. Ourrenovation windows are provided with a special renovation frame with the so-called masking profile, to form an aesthetic trim on the external side of an installed window. The exposed sections of the old frame on the external side can be additionally masked with a special PVC angle trim (solution available only for renovation frames with a height of 65 mm). CONSTRUCTION: Veka system, 70 mm wide 5-chamber sash; 70 mm wide renovation frame with a 35 mm (type Z) or 65 mm (type R) high masking profile; external steel reinforcements with min. thickness of 1,5 mm along the whole length and width of the frame and sash guarantee perfect static stability and functional safety; thanks to a profile internal wall thickness >2,8 mm, the system is qualified to the highest quality - class A (in accordance with PN-EN 12608 standard); the profile is provided with drain holes. STYLISTIC LINES: combinations of Perfectline renovation frame and three sash recessed Perfectline sash with chamfered edges; optional: rounded gasket bearing skirt on the internal side recessed Swingline sash with rounded edges Q half-flush Swingline sash with rounded edges AVAILABLE COLOURS: white, wood-like or solid veneer acc. to RAL palette; veneer covering one or both sides. GLAZING: 24 mm thick double-pane insulated glazing unit with Low-E glass and argon-filled cavity (heat-transfer coefficient Ug < 1,0 W/m2 K, sound insulation Rw = 31 (-2;-5) dB); optional: safe and anti-burglary glass (P2; P4), sound proof, absorptive, reflective and ornamental glass, etc.; "warm edge spacer" to integrate the glazing unit with a special PVC coating and reduce FITTINGS: Roto NT with improved anti-corrosion protection, handle foolproof mechanism and micro-ventilation; optional: handle-operated sash tilt limiter and step tilt adjuster, electromagnetic lock for balcony doors, Secustik° or key-secured handles, Designo type, with invisible hinges on the windows, safe fittings, Tilt First, for children's rooms and WK1 or WK2 class burglar-proof GASKETS: two replaceable gaskets installed in the sash made of thermoplastic EPDM resistant to weathering effects (cracking, stress, ageing); glazing gaskets are helpful in ensuring proper heat and sound insulation and their shape (surface with 15° inclination - just like the profiles) directs water and dirt away; clamp and glazing gaskets available in black, MUNTINS: internal, structural, glued on the external pane surface.
