BLOWN GLASS MANUFACTURING The Verrerie de Saint-Just was established in 1826 by royal decree of Charles X. IN SAINT-JUST By 1865 the owner, Mathias Andre Pelletier, had assimilated all the expertise and craftsmanship in blown glass from France, Switzerland and Bohemia. The Verrerie de Saint-Just specialised in hand-blown coloured glass. Following his research, he revived the splendour of the exceptional reds and blues in the stained-glass windows of the Middle Ages.
