His collection of lamps, titled "Light is blue," showcases his unique design skills and his fascination with light and color.
Design Inspirations and Key Products
Panton drew inspiration from the natural world, incorporating elements like the sea and sand into his designs. The "Fun" lamp, made from mother of pearl, exemplifies his attention to detail and the fusion of natural materials with creative design. This lamp is designed to be both seen and heard, making it a central piece in any room.
The "Spiral" lamp, available in silver and white cellidor, uses moving spirals to create dynamic lighting effects, reflecting both natural and artificial light to enhance any space.
The "Fun (metal)" lamp balances hard materials with soft light, showcasing Panton's ability to harmonize opposites in his designs.
Technical Aspects and Versatility
Panton's designs, such as the "Panto" and "VP Globe," are characterized by their transparency and adaptability. These light globes allow for optimal light distribution and can be adjusted to suit different environments, demonstrating Panton's technical expertise and innovative use of materials.

Of course Im very proud that there is still somuch interest in my husbandҒs design andhis lifes work. It would have made Verner happy, and it certainly makes me happy.Verner had very clear attitudes regarding hiswork and regarding shape, colours and func-tion. At the same time he made consciousand brave use of different materials. Also ina way and a combination which often led to his contemporaries disparaging the Ҕtime-lessness of his design. The great interest inhis design today proves the opposite. Marianne Panton > www.verpan.dk size="-1">
