Company Details
Ventive Ltd, located at Thames House, Swan Street, Isleworth, United Kingdom, conducted the acoustic test. Contact details include phone: +44 20 8560 1314 and email: [email protected].

Location & Date of Sound Test
The test was carried out by Sound Research Laboratories at Holbrook House, Little Waldingfield, Sudbury, Suffolk, United Kingdom, on 29/04/2019.

Description of Test
The Ventive Windhive was tested in various configurations according to the relevant standards. The test procedure and measurement uncertainty are detailed in Appendices A and B.

Results
The document does not provide specific results in the main text but refers to drawings and appendices for detailed configurations and outcomes.

Drawings of Windhive Configurations
Three drawings illustrate different test configurations: Drawing 1 for Tests 2 & 3, Drawing 2 for Tests 4, 5, 6, 7, & 9, and Drawing 3 for Test 8.

Appendix A – Test Procedure
The test followed BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010 standards, measuring sound transmission between two reverberant rooms. The Sound Reduction Index (R) was calculated to determine the sound insulation performance of the test sample.

Appendix B – Measurement Uncertainty
Uncertainty values are provided for various frequencies, with a confidence level of approximately 95%. Temperature, humidity, and static pressure uncertainties are also noted.

In the laboratory, airborne sound transmission is determined from the difference in sound pressure levels measured across a test sample installed between two reverberant rooms. The difference in measured sound pressure levels is corrected for the amount of absorption in the receiving room. The test is done under conditions which restrict the transmission of sound by paths other than directly through the sample. The source sound field is randomly incident on the sample. The test sample is located and sealed in an aperture within the brick dividing wall between the two rectangular reverberant (i.e....

laboratory, because only under such controlled conditions can the sound transmission path be limited to the sample under test. Rw, C and Ctr have been calculated in accordance with the relevant section of BS EN ISO 717-1:2013 from the results of laboratory tests carried out in accordance with BS EN ISO 101402:2010. The following values of uncertainty are based on a standard uncertainty multiplied by a coverage factor of k = 2 , which provides a level of confidence of approximately 95%.
