They can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. The wired wall-mounted control unit will simply display a maintenance message when the filters need to be replaced: Replace the filters (supply and discharge air) with the official Vasco filter sets, which can be purchased from wholesale businesses. There is no need to reset the dirty filter warning, given that the message is displayed and triggered by the reading of the differential pressure switches in the ventilation unit.
