The Vandersanden Waterstruck is a brick that has that certain cachet. Quick reminder: the standard Waterstruck A Waterstruck facing brick is sometimes described as an unsanded handmoulded brick. For our latest development in our Waterstruck range, we have added yet another technique, i.e. engobing. Engobes are liquid colourings, consisting mainly of clay minerals. Production detail Clay minerals and water are mixed into a liquid mass, a so-called engobe, a thin layer of which is applied onto the unfired bricks.
