Signature ® Colors Venetian Plaster Product Description Create the look and feel of smooth marble on your walls with Venetian Plaster. This unique interior acrylic finish imparts layers of rich, opaque color with delicate tone-on-tone highlights. Typical Properties (214786) Vehicle Type: Vinyl Acrylic Resin Sheen: 30–40 Units @ 85° angle (Polished) Solids by Volume: 50% Solids by Weight: 69% Weight per Gallon: 13.7 lbs./gal. Features • Polished, marble-like finish VOC: Less than 150 g/L Viscosity: Thick Paste Dry Time: 77°F @ 50% Relative Humidity To the touch: 1-4 hours Recoat: 1-4 hours Washing: Allow at least 7 days before washing. Use mild detergent and sponge. Recommended Uses • Interior Plaster • Drywall • Not for use in wet areas (showers) or on working surfaces such as countertops, tabletops, etc. Colors and Base Information Venetian Plaster Surface Coverage: 150–190 sq. ft./gal. At: 10 mil Wet, 5 mil Dry Storage and Disposal • Do not freeze. • Keep container closed when not in use. • Do not transfer contents to other containers for storage or disposal. • In case of spillage, absorb with inert material such as sand or kitty litter. • Dispose of contaminated absorbent, container and/or unused contents in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Surface Preparation Read the Lead Warning in Cautions section. Clean and dry surface thoroughly, removing all dirt, dust, rust, grease and wax. Scrape off loose paint. Remove wallpaper. Plaster cracks and spot prime. Dull glossy surfaces with gloss remover or sandpaper. Remove chalky residue and prime unpainted plaster and wallboard with a latex wall primer. Prime all previously painted surfaces with interior PVA latex primer or stain blocking primer for a smooth, uniform surface.
