Product Description: Sandstone textured paint offers a unique style and sophistication with a granular appearance suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, or dens. It is applicable on wallboard, plaster, wood, masonry, and brick but not recommended for trim, cabinets, or furniture.
Typical Properties: The paint is an acrylic emulsion with a sheen of 0–10 units at a 60° angle. It contains 40% solids by volume and 54% by weight, with a weight of 11.0 lbs./gal. The VOC content is less than 150 g/L, and it has a viscosity of 87–93 Krebs Units. Dry time is 1 hour to touch and 4 hours for recoat at 77°F and 50% relative humidity. Coverage is approximately 300 sq. ft./gal. depending on surface porosity and texture.
Features: The paint provides a fine-grained textured finish with an easy two-coat application, offering a unique interior faux finish.
Recommended Uses: Suitable for wallboard, plaster, wood, masonry, and brick. Not for use on trim, cabinets, or furniture.
Storage and Disposal: Do not freeze. Keep the container closed when not in use and do not transfer contents to other containers. In case of spillage, absorb with inert material and dispose of according to regulations.
Shipping and Packaging: Classified as paint or paint-related material, it should be protected from freezing. Packaged in gallons, four per carton.
Surface Preparation: New surfaces should be fully cured and clean, with new walls primed with an interior PVA primer. Previously painted surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of peeling paint. Glossy surfaces should be dulled before application.
Application and Clean-up: Apply when temperatures are between 50–90°F. Mix well and use a ½” nap roller for application. Clean up with warm, soapy water.
Cautions: Contains ethylene glycol and crystalline silica, which are harmful if swallowed and may cause irritation. Use with adequate ventilation and avoid contact with eyes and skin. Follow safety precautions and use appropriate protective equipment.
Lead Warning: Removing old paint may release lead dust, which is toxic. Use a NIOSH-approved respirator and clean up with a HEPA vacuum and wet mop. Contact the National Lead Information Hotline for more information.

Surface Preparation Read the Lead Warning in Cautions section. For New or Bare Surfaces: New wallboard and plaster should be fully cured and clean. Remove all sanding dust. New walls must be primed with an interior PVA primer. For Previously Painted Surfaces: All surfaces should be clean, dry and free of peeling and chipping paint.
