Surface Preparation Read the Lead Warning in Cautions section. Surface should be clean and dry. Scrape off loose paint and patch all holes, cracks and indentations. Any imperfections and wall seams will be more visually apparent with a metallic paint. Application and Clean-up Paint only when surface and air temperatures are 50–90 °F (10–32 ºC).
