VELIDOR FINE can be used to create exclusive, antique-style environments displaying the classic Renaissance style yet in line with recent decorative trends. VELIDOR FINE is breathable and washable, it can be painted over and is easy to apply with various tools (brush, glove, sponge, roller, etc.). Old Surfaces. Remove old non-adhering and peeling paint and wash using water and suitable soap products. Next, apply a coat of PRIMER 1200 diluted 50% with water to act as a fixative. After approximately 4 hours at 20°C, apply a second coat of PRIMER 1200 diluted 15 - 20% with water. If, however, the surfaces are clean and not peeling, apply one or two coats of PRIMER 1200 diluted 15 - 20% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of VELIDOR FINE. New Surfaces. Use a filler to repair the surface. When dry, sand the surface then apply one or two coats of PRIMER 1200 diluted 15 - 20% with water. After 4 hours at 20°C, proceed with the application of VELIDOR FINE. dilution: to be diluted 20 - 30% with water system by brush - glove - sponge - roller Apply a coat of VELIDOR FINE in circular strokes using a brush or glove. Alternatively, VELIDOR FINE can be applied with criss-cross brush strokes in all directions. If desired, a second coat of VELIDOR FINE can be applied after 6 - 8 hours at 20°C. VELIDOR FINE can be applied either over PRIMER 1200 (for interiors and exteriors) or directly on any other resin-rich paint that adheres properly to the surface, is in good condition and is not powdery. Lastly, VELIDOR FINE can be used on BUCCIATO PLASTICO 539, PLASTICO LISCIO 509, ISOLPAINT M399 and ANTICANDO 300 or 600. Application temperature: above +5°C and below +30°C. Do not apply under direct sunlight or in windy conditions. Avoid application during very humid days or on frozen surfaces. Drying: in a non-dusty environment for 1 hour at 20°C. Dry after 6 - 8 hours at 20°C.
