V4 Wood Flooring's A111 Oak Rustic Brushed & Matt Lacquered is part of the Alpine Plank collection. It is an engineered plank made from oak, featuring a brushed surface and a matt lacquered finish. The dimensions are 190 x 15/4 x 1900 mm, with a total thickness of 15 mm, including a 4 mm solid European oak top layer and an 11 mm softwood core layer. The product is graded as CD Rustic and comes in packs covering 2.166 m2, containing 6 boards with possible split lengths. The joint type is tongue & grooved, and the edges are bevelled on all four sides.
The flooring is manufactured in China and complies with the European Timber Regulation, with FSC® 100% certification available for project inquiries. It has a Janka hardness of 1360 lbf (6000N) and a slip resistance test result of USRV 100. The European reaction to fire classification is Dn - S1, and the release of formaldehyde is less than 0.012mg/m3. Thermal conductivity is rated at 0.16W/mK, with a tog rating of 1.13.
The CD Rustic grade allows for natural beauty variations, including sound knots up to 50 mm, filled knots up to 30 mm, and some sapwood at corners. Filled defects are allowed using black and dark brown filler. End checks and insect damage are not allowed, while heartwood, color variation, small shakes, and grain variation are permitted.
Installation should be performed by experienced professionals following guidelines available on the V4 Wood Flooring website. The flooring can be fully bonded, floated on underlay, and installed over underfloor heating (fully bonded installation recommended). Secret nailing is not supported.
To maintain the flooring, minimize grit and dust, use entrance mats, and apply felt pads to furniture. Clean with pH-neutral products and avoid excessive water. Recommended maintenance products include Wood’s Good Natural Floor Care Refresher and regular sweeping or vacuuming. Sanding and re-lacquering are advised for long-term care.
