A101 Oak Rustic Satin Lacquered
V4 Wood Flooring's Oak Rustic Satin Lacquered is part of the Alpine collection, featuring engineered oak planks with a smooth surface and satin lacquer finish. The product dimensions are 150 x 15/4 x 1900 mm, with a 4 mm solid European oak top layer and an 11 mm softwood core layer. The pack size is 1.71 m2, containing 6 boards, which may include 2 split lengths. The planks have a tongue and grooved joint type and are bevel edged on all four sides.
The flooring is manufactured in China and complies with the European Timber Regulation, with FSC® certification available upon request. It has a Janka hardness of 1360 lbf (6000N) and a slip resistance test result of 80/46 PTV according to EN 14231. The European reaction to fire classification is Dfl-s1, and it has a formaldehyde release rating of E1. The thermal conductivity is 0.16W/mK, with a tog rating of 1.13.
The rustic grade allows for varying sizes of live and filled dead knots, color variations, sapwood, heartwood, and filled splits. As timber is a natural product, grading criteria are approximate, and additional material may be needed for further selection during installation.
Installation should be performed by experienced professionals following the guides available on the V4 Wood Flooring website. The flooring can be fully bonded, floated on underlay, and is suitable for use over underfloor heating, with a fully bonded installation recommended.
